Privacy Policy for the App “YourNext”

Last updated: 7 November 2026 · Deutsche Version

1. Controller

gabble.it GmbH
Neustädter Str. 12
30169 Hannover, Germany

2. Principle

YourNext shows you the countdown to your events. gabble.it GmbH does not operate a server for the app, and there is no user account and no registration. Your data is not transmitted to gabble.it GmbH or to third parties.

3. What data does the app process?

The app stores the information you enter yourself for your events:

  • Title, date, and, if set, time and end date of the event
  • Color, emoji, and a note
  • A photo that you select from your photo library for an event

The app also stores your settings. The app does not access your location, your contacts or your calendar.

4. Storage, iCloud and disclosure

Your events are stored in a local database inside the app on your device. The widget that belongs to the app receives the data it needs through a shared local storage area (App Group) on the same device.

If you are signed in to iCloud on your device, the app synchronizes your events with your other devices through your private iCloud area (Apple CloudKit). The data is kept in your personal iCloud account; gabble.it GmbH has no access to it. Apple is responsible for the processing in iCloud, and Apple’s privacy policy applies. Without an iCloud sign-in, your events remain local on the device.

The app uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services and no third-party software libraries. Your data is not sold, not used for advertising and not disclosed to third parties.

Voluntary in-app purchases (tips) are handled exclusively by Apple. gabble.it GmbH does not receive any payment or account data.

5. Control and deletion

  • You can edit or delete events in the app at any time. If iCloud synchronization is active, the deletion is carried over to your other devices.
  • You can turn off iCloud synchronization for the app in the iOS Settings (Apple ID → iCloud).
  • When you delete the app, the locally stored data is removed. You can delete data in your iCloud area in the iOS Settings under iCloud → Manage Storage.

6. TestFlight

If you test the app through Apple’s TestFlight, Apple processes data such as your Apple ID, email address, usage and crash information, and feedback as an independent controller. Apple’s privacy policy applies to this. gabble.it GmbH only receives what you send as feedback yourself or what Apple provides as part of TestFlight.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Because gabble.it GmbH does not receive any personal data from the app, it generally cannot release any data; you can view and delete your data in the app yourself at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

8. Changes

We will update this policy if the app or the legal situation changes. The current version is always available at this address.
